How to Become a Police Officer

There are several steps to becoming a police officer for the Village of Spring Valley.
You must:

Live in the Village of Spring Valley

Pass the Rockland County Civil Service Exam (Once every four years)

Pass the interview

Be approved by the Board

Pass a Physical, Psychological & Medical Exam

Pass all background checks
