The Justice Court of the Village of Spring Valley has three justices:

Criminal/Civil

• Hon. James H. Mellion, J.J.C.
• Hon. Patricia Brimais-Tenemille, J.J.C.
• Hon. Justin L. Sweet, J.J.C.

The judges are assisted by their Chief Clerk Dorothie Casimir  and an Associate Court Clerk plus a staff of seven employees.  The Justice Court has jurisdiction over a broad range of matters, including vehicle and traffic matters, small claims, evictions, civil matters, and criminal offenses.
