All Public Village Meetings are held at 200 North Main Street, Spring Valley, NY in the Board Room.
Village Board Meetings - Meetings are held on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month.
The Village of Spring Valley’s Board consists of The Village Mayor, his / her Deputy, and three Trustee. Village Board Meetings give the public an opportunity to have a say in any agenda item pertaining to community interest.
Planning Board Meetings—Meeting are held on the First Thursday of each month.
The Village of Spring Valley’s Planning Board's legal responsibilities are:
· To prepare and adopt a master plan for the physical development of the Village.
· To review subdivision and site plan applications.
· To encourage municipal cooperation in matters of mutual and regional concern.
· To advise the Village of Spring Valley Board of Trustees on budgets and costs.
· To maintain a file on municipal master plans and development regulations.
Zoning Appeals—Meetings held on the Second Wednesday of each month.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is authorized:
· To hear and decide appeals.
· To grant variances.
· To grant special exceptions.
· To impose conditions on variances and special exceptions regarding location, character, and other features of the proposed structure or use as it may deem necessary in the public interest.
