I, Ronald Simpson, as Director of Parks & Recreation, is aiming to provide healthy and active lifestyle options that are beneficial to all Village residents, young and old.  I also wish to provide recreational leadership that will inspire a strong and healthy community, and to promote the benefits of a shared and enhanced quality of life.

         The Village of Spring Valley Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the scheduling of community recreational events as well as the maintenance of park athletic fields and equipment.

         The Department of Parks and Recreation offers activities and events that ensure the residents of our community have access to safe and healthy recreational alternatives.  The Department also provides transportation to local and out-of town trips for children in the community.

         Various basketball and football leagues utilize our athletic fields.  Our updated softball field is enjoyed by softball teams comprised of adults and children and our athletic fields also provides playing space for cricket and soccer games.
