Over 100 years ago a movement began to have the Village of Spring Valley incorporated in order to obtain and provide needed upgrades.  Incorporation meant government by the residents. The Village of Spring Valley since its incorporation in 1902 has come a long way.

Our Village forefathers believed police and fire protection, street maintenance, water and sewer services, and waste removal were necessary in order to offer those who lived and worked in the Village a better Quality of Life — today, Village residents and business owners are provided with these services.

The Administrative Offices and Village employees are positive and upbeat about taking on new and modern processes to help assist us in continuing to improve the Quality of Life for our residents.

The Village of Spring Valley has been dubbed the “Hub of Rockland County” because all roads from every direction lead to our Village; and with your support we will make the Village of Spring Valley an extraordinary place to live and work.

The Village of Spring Valley’s new website, as well as  its municipal government, are aiming to make available to you correct and easy to use information on all Village services and programs.
